Food Handler and TABC Certification Package
Combine two great courses for one discounted price! If your job includes handling food or anything that will touch food and selling or serving alcohol in the state of Texas, the Texas Department of State Health Services (TXDSHS) requires you to complete training in both, earning a food handler card and a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) certificate. Now you can receive both of these state-approved courses to take at your convenience. They're 100% online, so take them at your own pace, on your own time.
The food handler portion takes two hours and will train students on proper safety techniques when working with unpackaged food, food equipment or utensils, or food contact surfaces. Learn about foodborne illness, contamination and how to prevent it, and more. There are NO quizzes or final exams for the food handler portion of the package. Just follow along with the material and you will earn your food handler card. As soon as you finish the course, you will be able to print out your food handler card. Begin working the same day!
The TABC certification portion covers two hours of material, but without a time requirement. It trains students who wish to sell, serve, dispense, or deliver alcoholic beverages on the laws governing the sale and service to intoxicated customers and minors, and how to prevent those sales. There is a final exam that requires you to get at least 70% of the questions correct, but we'll help you throughout the material with questions to get you ready for the final exam. As soon as you pass that test, we'll notify the TABC for you and provide you with an electronic copy of your certificate to print out.
